Here’s What Our Customers Say about Peerfocus

Veronika Bordas, Principal and Director, Surveys & Research, Quatt Associates

“We run five to six major annual nonprofit compensation surveys, plus a few others periodically. Given the highly sensitive information we collect, it’s important to have a vendor whose data security I can trust. Although we initially used Peerfocus mostly as an interface for data input, we now also store data and conduct internal benchmarking, which has been invaluable. A lot of vendors assume customers will come to them with questions, but when I took over from my predecessor, the Peerfocus team proactively showed me how we could tap more of the platform’s capacity, and that was a big turning point. Their outstanding customer service is also timely, detailed, sensitively gauged to our needs, and offers realistic expectations of time and costs. Despite our many years of satisfaction, when we not long ago went through an RFP process, Peerfocus was still the best vendor for us, by far.”

Jason Ludwig, Director of Content, Council on Foundations, Quatt Associates, Council on Foundations

“Our flagship publication would not be possible without Peerfocus. The front-end is versatile, really letting us dig into our research, and the back-end is incredibly powerful and flexible. Plus, Peerfocus is accessible to users beyond those who strictly focus on data, and the one-on-one customer support is exceptional.”

Ann E. Kaplan, Fundraising Research Expert & Vice President, Emerita, Council for Aid to Education (CAE)

“Peerfocus has features no other commercially available platform offers. A non-coder can easily author surveys because the tools are simple and elegant. The automatic error checks, for example, are a godsend. Colleagues who work with other survey platforms can’t run checks until the surveys are closed. These run automatically with Peerfocus, so the respondent is still there and focused on our survey instrument before they walk away. By the time an admin signs off on surveys, they are largely without error. If I find an error I didn’t program a check for, I can immediately see which institutions violated it and quickly follow up.

It might be surprising, but most platforms can’t easily be coded to display a grid that adds across rows and down columns, which Peerfocus does. The ease of providing pop-up help is very useful. I also love being able to remind respondents of deadlines using the survey status tool.

We love the platform, as do our users. Among other things, it dramatically reduces our personnel costs, enables us to collect more meaningful data over time while shortening the time from survey creation to reporting, and frees staff coders and admins to focus on more technical tasks. We also value being part of the Peerfocus community of users, where everyone benefits from the customized features Peerfocus develops for us or for other customers.

While formally evaluating our long relationship with Peerfocus, I interviewed many other companies and their clients, and there isn’t a platform that comes close. Peerfocus was designed for complex survey administration; it’s more than a place to enter data. Every other tool we researched required a lot of back-end retrofitting to even bring it close. Even during the research phase I found the Peerfocus staff to be extremely responsive, in contrast to the lack of responsiveness or inability to help solve design and coding issues from larger companies with more generic platforms.

I love both the Peerfocus platform and the team!”
